It's all about perspective

Hi everyone, life was very busy offline lately, will try to be back here more often :)
Recently I was on vacation in Thailand, it was my first time there and everything was so different that after the first three days I felt that I had enough of vacation time… but we were there a bit longer and it was a great recharge.

Our hotel was on the hill, which was really nice as the view was great, it was a short walk from the beach and high street but also fairly quiet.
While we were walking from the beach to the hotel on the narrow road we noticed signs of Tsunami evacuation points. I knew what tsunami is, but it kind of lived in a parallel reality for me. When I think about fire evacuation – that is pretty real, but tsunami – that is more from the news or books. However, for local people this is very normal day to day reality it just exists and they know where to run and what to do. Totally different perspective.
And how many of “tsunamis” we also ignore in our usual day to day, just because it seems so far away, but still can be very real?
