SPA for your mind

Summer is a vacation time for many people. How do you get ready?


When I was on vacation in April, it took me six full days of vacation to get my mind at ease, into the right calm and relaxed state, to stop checking work messages on the phone every five minutes being worried that I might miss something important. Yes, that was probably my overwhelmed brain reaction after very busy and eventful couple of months, but that was probably not the best use of vacation time, also from work productivity perspective.


Then as I was walking past the SPA in the hotel, I thought how cool that would be if there would be a “SPA for your brain” service as well. Ideally that can be pre-vacation service when a person can talk through all the worries, set up goals and state of mind for vacation to really be able to have a proper rest, potentially work out the first things to do after, so that those things are out of the system and stop constantly circulating in your brain. Or at least if those thoughts keep circulating at the back of someone’s mind, they are more of productive rather than stressful thoughts.


I think that can be a really good topic for a coaching session and can be solved within one session.
