Yes or No?

Recently I heard a very insightful phrase: “By saying No to something, what am I saying Yes to?”, and vice versa: “By saying “Yes” to something, what am I saying “No” to?”
What do you think?
It is pretty much about the fact that we make choices all the time, about the two sides of the coin. For example, if I decide to attend a salsa class in the evening (saying “yes” to salsa class), I will not attend a climbing session, or will not come home early (choosing to say “no” to those options), or if I am hiring one candidate, I have to say “no” to the others even if I don’t want to do so.
So, it is a constant balance dilemma: what do you choose?
For me right now on the professional side the balance is about figuring out how to combine the full-time job that I really like and proper development in coaching, which is also something I’m really passionate about.
Now, vacation time, let’s see where my reflection on the balance would lead me to.
And what do you say “yes” and “no” to?
